We’re growing Decagon’s presence across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, building a local team to work more closely with customers, partners, and the broader AI ecosystem.
The region is home to globally minded companies that often operate across markets and languages from day one. We’re already partnering with brands that have set a high bar for customer experience, including Rituals, the Amsterdam-founded global luxury beauty and wellbeing brand.
I’m also in Amsterdam this week for HumanX, where I’ll be joining Kartik Sheth, Chief AI Officer at Deutsche Telekom, for a conversation on what it takes to move AI agents beyond the demo and into real enterprise environments.
When AI represents your brand, quality matters
For customer-facing AI, getting the answer right is only part of the job. The agent also has to sound natural, behave reliably, adapt across markets, and earn the trust of both customers and the teams operating it.
After previous chatbot-era tools failed to deliver the quality and consistency Rituals needed, the brand turned to Decagon to build customer experiences that could scale without losing what makes the brand distinctive.
With Decagon, Rituals launched Ray, its AI concierge, and expanded it across 19 countries and 15 languages in just two months. Ray has helped Rituals scale through even its busiest periods while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.
Rommy Verschelling, Head of Customer Relations at Rituals, shared:
“During peak holiday and Black Friday season, we can see up to 9,000 cases a day. With our agent, Ray, handling a significant portion of that volume, we had zero customer relations backlog for the first time ever.”
Beyond handling volume, Ray is giving Rituals’ human ambassadors more time to focus on the high-touch moments that deepen customer relationships, while the team continues to improve the experience across markets and languages.
Built locally, experienced globally
For companies that serve customers across borders, AI agents need to adapt across languages and markets while delivering a consistent, high-quality experience everywhere.
If you’re looking for a partner to help you build omnichannel AI agents that reflect your brand and adapt across markets, we’d love to talk.
If you want to be part of our growth, explore our open roles on the careers page.

With Decagon, CX teams don’t have to guess whether a change will improve CSAT or deflection. They can move quickly, measure what matters, and act on what works.

There are very few places where you can prototype with frontier LLMs, ship to production in days, and watch users engage with the systems you built—all while owning the entire stack, from intent parsing and tool usage to API integration and observability. This role at Decagon is one of those places.
From my own experience working across both agent development and broader engineering initiatives at Decagon, I’ve seen firsthand how uniquely impactful this work can be. Whether I’m building intelligent workflows for customers or designing infrastructure that supports our agent platform, it’s rare to find an environment where the work transitions from concept to production within days, actively powering user experiences and transforming how businesses operate.
If you’re looking for a role where you can:
- Build at the frontier of LLMs, automation, and user interaction
- Deploy AI agents that solve high-value business use cases across industries including retail, travel and hospitality, fintech, edtech, and more
- Work directly with customers on high-impact use cases
- Ship fast, iterate constantly, and own your work from idea to production
- Join a fast-moving, collaborative team solving real-world challenges with AI
We’d love to hear from you!
The AI concierge for every customer.
